SpeechCraft is a series of seminar-styled interactive workshops aimed at helping you learn the fundamentals of public speaking. Experienced public speakers will equip you with the necessary skills to become a better communicator and a more confident speaker.

Our Trainers

LEAD TRAINER: NG KIN FOONG   An award-winning speaker, trainer and coach on the subjects of Leadership, Confidence, and Communication, Kin Foong has delivered educational workshops on public speaking for the public and numerous junior colleges. Well-known for his effective coaching and simple yet powerful speeches, he is the founder and lead trainer of Radiant Owl Consultancy and Services Pte Ltd. His passion lies in transforming individuals and helping them get more out of life than they previously thought possible. He is currently serving as the President of Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club. “To inspire others to inspire” — that is his personal mission.

GLADYS TYE An experienced speaker certified in Neuro Lingustic Programming (NLP) and was awarded the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment, she is currently serving as the Vice president of Education in Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club. In fact, she was awarded the Toastmasters of the Year award in 2014. Beyond toastmasters, she gives presentations regularly in the learning & development department in a leading global architecture firm. “To help people conquer fear of speaking” — that is her personal mission.

TED CHONG Ted has won multiple awards in humorous speech, evaluation speech as well as international speech contests over the last 4 years. As a trainer, he conducts workshops in schools including Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National Junior College (NJC) and Innova Junior College (IJC). Having experienced the benefits of Toastmasters’ education over his online businesses, he believes that excellent communication skills can bring about an unfair advantage in one’s career. His daily mantra? Just keep improving!

CHRISTINA HO Highly passionate about public speaking, Christina has conducted leadership and public speaking workshops at junior colleges such as Hwa Chong Junior College (HCJC), National Junior College (NJC), Pioneer Junior College (PJC). She has also won numerous awards in corporate Toastmasters Clubs such as Paypal Toastmasters Club and Barclays Toastmasters Club. Currently serving as the Vice-President of Public Relations of Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club, she hopes to encourage more people to come onboard this toastmasters journey, for better listening, thinking and speaking. She says, “The sky is the limit!”

Speechcraft 2013

What are the Speechcraft dates?

1st November (Friday) 7pm to 10pm

8th November (Friday) 7pm to 10pm

15th November (Friday) 7pm to 10 pm

21st November (Thursday) 7pm to 10pm (chapter meeting)

29th November (Friday) 7pm to 10pm

(this is an integrated programme and you have to attend all sessions)

How much will it cost?

$180, including 6 months' free membership to Toastmasters International. If you've already joined us at Tampines Changkat Toastmasters, you can get a special price of $100 because you're already a member (ie you won't get the membership, you already have that)
