Speaking opportunities arises anywhere and anytime around us. Our toastmasters training serves to prepare us well with a wide spectrum of appointment and speaking role to develop an all-rounded speaking skill suited for all occasions.
This Thursday, continuing with the hype of education after Coen's evaluation segment last week, our senior member, Andrew has kindly agreed to conduct an educational segment on how to be an effective 'Toastmaster of the evening.' What are the things to look out for as a host? What kind of speaking style do i have to adopt ? How does being a host improve my speaking?
These are the questions which will be answered on that day. So, the next time someone seek your help in hosting a wedding, you are all ready to say : ' Yes, why not!'
But before that, put what you learn to use by taking up the role of TME first in our practicing ground(chapter meetings).
On top of that, we are having another new member, Eldrid attempting his maiden speech this thursday, how exciting! Come and support Eldrid as he breaks the ice!
