Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club - Chapter Meeting - 16th August 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen!

The spirit of Toastmasters and especially Tampines Changkat TMC that we appreciate each other’s efforts and celebrate each other’s achievements.

We have once again a new member, Kin Foong taking his first step in the journey of learning, sharing and growing with his ice-breaking speech. Be there to lend your support to a great first-step. Next we have Kejin, after a great ice-breaking speech she is now moving on to her P2 with equal enthusiasm and zeal, be there to witness it. Our member Nui will be breaking the half way mark in her Competent Communicator journey this Thursday, be there to share the joy of her progress.

And our member June Tan is now moving on to her P7, taking her next step in her quest for the Competent Communicator qualification, be there to edge her on. To top it all off for a fantastic evening, we have none other than Division Governor, Krishna Raj to do General Evaluation for us, be there to learn from our leader.

Look forward to seeing all of you there for an evening of sharing, learning and fun! (Chapter meeting starts promptly at 7.30pm, please come early at 7pm for dinner so that we can end on time. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated!)

Toastmaster of the year goes to Coen Tan!

I am really proud to announce to you that the Toastmaster of the year award TOYA goes to Coen Tan!
He is a sower to the toastmasters movement not only to our club but he frequently visits clubs in Singapore and mentors younger members.

What i have said is an under-statement, wait till you see him in the next chapter meeting in your club!

Ladies and Gentlemen! 

The newly installed Executive Committee invites you to start the new term on a high note and is all charged and ready to lead our members and the Club to more successes.

But nothing would be achieved without the support and commitment of our members. Members' support and the leaders' commitment go hand in hand for our Cub to thrive.

We look forward to your regular attendance at our meetings in support of our Exco so that they can help you attain the goals you seek in your Toastmasters journey and also gain greater recognition for our Club.

A very early Hollywood actor, George Albert Jessel once said, "The human brain starts working the moment you are born and never stops until you stand up to speak in public". 

Now we don't want to end up like that do we? So head on down to the Tampines Changkat TMC Chapter meeting this Thursday, 2nd August 2012.
