Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Reunion Meeting :D

Dear members

On 22nd Jan, the night right before Chinese New Year, the Chinese will commemorate by having a reunion dinner.

On 19th Jan, the chapter meeting right before Chinese New Year, tampines changkat toastmasters will commemorate by having a reunion refreshment break!!

Besides the refreshment which is always one of the highlights of our chapter meeting, we have an exciting program being lined up. Gurmit is attempting his P2 after touching us with his life story just 2 weeks ago. On top of that, there will be 3 members- Richard, Coen and myself delivering our advanced projects from different advanced manuals.

If you are keen to learn about what kind of adventure entails after completing the CC manual, you must come and check out the advanced projects!

Another reason we must turn up for the coming chapter meeting is what follows after that. As if the refreshment isn't enough, we will be having a supper treat!

Magdalene, Matthew and yours truly will be treating everyone to chilli crab for our reunion supper! Why ? Well, You will know why once you complete your CC.

This is a definitely a prelude to Chinese New year where good food awaits. However, education always takes priority over any other allures.

So before we embark on our long chinese new year holiday, let us embrace the educational takeaways of the chapter meeting.

So join us this thursday for an enlivening, enlightening and entertaining evening !!

Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Anniversary 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We celebrated our 19th anniversary on the 7th of Jan 2012

19 years of glorious existence

19 years of creating better listeners, thinkers and speakers

19 years of fun

When there are clubs that struggle to make past the first year, we prospered for 19 years!!!

How did we do that?

We exhibited that during the anniversary celebrations

Excellent support from everyone, from experienced members such as ChengLee, Andrew, Virginia to new members like QingXiang, Stephen, Raymond

You turned up and were present

The rising new leaders, Organizing Chair Matthew Leung, Organizing committee members such as Raymond, Wesley, they are our new crop of leaders who have arisen to take the baton of leadership when asked to do so

Excellent attitude in life, how we do in one thing, determines how we do everything.

We played hard, we even put in one more game because one wasn't enough. But we also played hard

At this point in time, I would also like to thank the Organizing Committee: Matthew, Ted, Raymond, Coen and Wesley.

Thank you for creating such a miracle that was the anniversary celebrations
