There’s no doubt about it, F1 Mania is has descended in Singapore! F1 is a fancy event no doubt. However behind that shiny façade and glam, much hard work goes into it.

Be it the arduous training of the drivers,
Be it the intense research by the scientists,
Be it the overtime clocked by the organizers.

All these are done So that the show can go on, So that the racers are ready to rumble, so that everyone is Geared for Success. While of a different nature and scale, the same principle applies for our chapter meetings!

He charmed, he waltzed and he entertained us when he presented his Project 1, The Ice Breaker. He had left us craving for more. Finally, the wait is over. Ridzham will be presenting his Project 2. How will he have for us this coming Thursday? I can’t wait to find out!

It was just over a week ago when he spoke. Now, he is on a roll! Next up, he is to present his AP2 of Story Telling Manual. Who is he? It’s yours truly, Shaun.

We have a brave warrior hailing all the way from LeeKee Advanced TMC. He will be attempting Project 2 of the basic manual. Let’s welcome, Kelvin Sum!

We have another illustrious speaker, joining us at our club. He will be performing a double act, an Advanced Project presentation and a Project Evaluation. Gabriel, we look forward to seeing you in action!

Feedback, that help you continue what you have been doing well. Feedback, that helps you fine tune. Look forward to an line up of Evaluators, our very own Coen, Andrew, Jin Hwui and Kelvin as well as invited guest: Gabriel from SIM 2 TMC.

For the role of the Master of Ceremony, the toastmaster of the evening, the host of the event, we have our own: Who? No, it’s Hoo, Hoo, Hoo, Hoo, Tony!

I will also like to acknowledge the following members who have agreed to take up appointments in this Chapter Meeting. They are: Susan as SAA, Sharon as Table Topics Master, Zhi Yong as timer, and CherTeck as Ah Counter.

A Mid-Autumn Night’s dream…..

Its Mid-Autumn festival today, as you sleep tonight what will you dream of?

Will you dream of 16 Sep 2010?

Will you dream the lofty dreams of aspiration, inspired by Coen’s speech on Leadership?

Will you dream of the dazzling display by the twin butterflies, Carin and Shu Zhen of AIA Changi TMC who were TMEs.

Will you dream of Atindra’s description of the gnawing arms of insomnia as it pulls you away from the much deprived sleep?

Will you dream of the untamed wild as Shaun took you on the journey through the jungle?

Will you dream of sky, as Cher Teck recounted his times in the Airforce?

Will you dream of the artful, articulate evaluations by Project Evaluators, Lip Wei of NTU Alumni TMC, Zhen Cong of SIM Students TMC, as well as our very own Michael, Cheng Lee and Jin Hwui.

Will you dream of the lesson of leadership exhibited by the various appointment holders: SAA, Nathaniel; Ah Counter, GimLeong; Table Topic Master, Linda and Timer, Angela.

Will you dream of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by Member and Audience?

386th Chapter Meeting Summary‏

Thank you, Adeline. You had done a terrify job in facilitating and controlling the meeting. It was our club’s pleasure as you to be our TME in the chapter meeting.

Thank You, Andrew for your special educational segment mentioning about "Meeting Roles & Responsibilities". It had benefited not just the newly-joined toastmasters. I believe it had benefited all toastmasters and our guests.

Thank You, Jinsen for sharing the secrets in goal setting. Setting practical goals, visualizing it and lastly taking action!

Thank You, Sharon! You had successfully taught us the 3 ways to enjoy food in the hawker. “Choke” a place, find a food stall & enjoy our food with ease with a packet of tissue papers.

Thank You, Linda for presenting the greatness of Honey! Now we know what we should consume when we had cough. What we should apply when we feel our skin is dry and What we should drink when we have constipation. “Honey” is the answer!

Thank You, Terry for educating us about 八字 (Ba Zi, Birthday of a person in Lunar Calendar). You reminded us of which element we belong and wearing the right colour and correct accessories would bring us great luck and fortune.

On behalf of our club, I like to thank our Project Evaluators, David Kow from Tiarel TMC, Jasmine Tan from NTU Inspyre TMC and Jerlynn Ang from Buona Vista TMC.

Thank you for highlighting what our speakers had done well and what could be done to excel in their next speech.

Thankful to our Table Topics Master, Vera Wee. Your theme, famous quotes had incepted us not to stop learning. And our warriors, Michael, Jae, Richard, Jinsen and Zamir who had taken up the challenge to put this quotes in action.

Appreciated the effort of our language evaluator, Lim Seh Leng, for adding a new word into our vocabulary, “Juxtapose”. You had evaluated us by
