Evaluation contests season have just passed us (at club level), and to build on the momentum and buzz and interest generated among us in the art of evaluation during this period, we are organizing an evaluation workshop!
During this workshop, you can gain pointers on effective evaluation, share experiences with fellow toastmasters, or simply gain a clearer insight on what goes on in the evaluator's mind when you are giving that speech. =)
Refreshments are provided ( the world can end, but Tampines Changkat Toastmasters will still feed you), so don't eat too much for dinner!
There's no such thing as a free workshop and free dinner, we only ask for a nominal fee of $5 pax.

We had an enjoyable evening, and our trainer for the evening Edward See was on hand to share with us the finer points of the art of effective evaluation, and also his personal experiences and insights. Every participant came away with something, from the beginner speaker to the seasoned evaluator.
Everyone learnt something. Such is the beauty of the toastmasters journey, you learn that there is always something to learn, no matter the stage you can be at (doesn't that apply for Life as well?). In the words of Edward See: "You give to gain".
