Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club 399th Chapter Meeting on 17 Mar 2011

I stopped breathing,
my eyes was glued,
I could not move.

Dear members,

In case you are wondering, I was not subjected to torture nor extreme conditions.
I was simply mesmerized..
not by the girl in dazzling red but..
by the red hot sizzling speech contest that just ended on the 3rd of Mar 2011.

In the words of a guest, it was simply amazing.
Great Job contestants! I feel proud just to stand side by side with you all.
Members for those whom you have missed the contest, do not fret.

Its the daily efforts that create greatness, its the biweekly chapter meetings that create the biannual champions!

All you need to do is to join us!

Immerse yourself in the environment of learner-ship and leadership.
Do not postpone your greatness any further!

Join us at Tampines Changkat this coming Thursday, 17 Mar 2011 where there is food for the tummy, food for thought, and fun for everyone!!!

What an exciting day we had last night...
It was the first time i have seen our club packed to the brim with visitors. Indeed it is nerve-wrecking to have so many unfamiliar faces staring at you while you speak. Nevertheless, toastmasters is about breaking limits ! breaking boundaries! Challenging yourself to take a step out of your comfort zone. And by joining the contest, this is how i felt yesterday..that i have taken a step further in my public speaking journey. It was a really great learning experience.

Now it is time to go back to my CC manual and start planning for my next speech again with a new lease of energy.
