Welcome to Tampines Changkat Toastmasters Club!

Welcome! Welcome to our club! Welcome to our always fun-filled, laughter-filled and food-filled chapter meetings!

At our club meetings, we'd always look forward to evenings of intellectual stimulation from our members and invited speakers. Here we learn a lot from one another. Not just on the techniques to speak, which is why we're all here in Toastmasters, but more so learning about life and one another's unique experiences so that we'd all become wiser as we all progress in our own lives.

At all our meetings, you'd feel like you've just come to a friend's dinner party. We welcome guests, friends, members and members from other clubs with great warmth and affection. "It's just like my second family!" says one of our long time member. We all feel the same too.

This blog is our attempt to reach out closer to all our members, past members, prospective members, friends, family and members from other clubs. Here you'll find our selected speeches, in either text or video clips that we've specially captured, at some of our more important events, eg. contests and special occasions.

With this blog, we want to make this site as interactive as possible. If you find that the speeches were helpful, motivational or even touching to you, please do leave a comment so that you share with the speaker your thoughts or any general feeling you would like to share with everyone.

Finally, embarking on the Toastmasters journey is a personal one. It is how much you learn, how much you put to use, how much you practise and how much you contribute back that matters. Because there is no such thing as people laughing at you if you make any mistakes. But rather, we'd all laugh together with you. In doing so together, we'd all make our journey in public speaking a more comfortable, fruitful and satisfying one.

Sincerely,

Vice President Education
